'Valley' is a my largest available print and makes a statement in any room. Capturing the dramatic landscape of Yorkshire, the composition is of a patchwork of fields. On closer inpsection the landscape is made up of textures, maps and book pages applied to the painting beneath. I camped in this landscape for a week before painting the piece and my relationship with the earth beneath deepened throughout that time. I watched the fields change colour, the mists roll across and the season begin to turn from summer to autumn.
Created using ink, collage with painted and repurposed papers and stitch. Inspired by folk and naive art my visual language is playful and uplifting. This piece is in greens, warm browns, chocolate, ochres and rusts with some deep blues.
Printed to order. Please allow two weeks for UK delivery. Orders will be sent packaged in a tube due to size restrictions. You'll need to carefully unpack it when it arrives and place the print under some books until it is flat again for framing.
