Based in the hills at Barlow Art Room, Dronfield S18 7TE.  Take inspiration from this beautiful place and find some creative, soulful expression . This is a Friday, one day class from 10-4. It can be a stand alone day or followed up with part two on Friday 5th June which will develop ideas with collage and pattern inspired by the landscape.

The workshop will be supportive, with lots of encouragement to help you put pencil to paper. It is not about accurate drawing but about looking for shapes and symbols in nature so you can find your creative flow. You will be encouraged to experience nature, to breathe and really look.

We will:

Make a beautiful unfolding sketchbook

Get outside to draw the landscape (weather permitting)

Draw directly from what we see and find

Create a narrative around the season

Please bring some basic drawing equipment - pencils, fineliner, paper scissors and a pritt stick.

Tea and coffee and cake provided. Please bring your lunch.
