*Cornona update* - Hopefully this workshop will run but who knows?! It may be be necessary to change the date - most likely to the autumn.  If it does go ahead - please come if you're well but not if youre not! I'm planning to do another retreat day in the Autumn so you can come to that instead. Stay well folks. x

Join me for a day away from it all! On this Slow Stitch Sunday Retreat you bring your project - sewing, knitting, mending -whatever! In the company of like minded souls lets spend the day creating and inspiring each other.

The day will be held in the Edith Lewis Room at Weleda, Ilkeston. It's a lovely spacious room with room to move around and talk to different groups of people. Just outside is a beautiful garden space so if the sun is shining we can sit outside.

The fee is to cover room hire and refreshments. I won't be teaching as such, or running a project - my role is to create space for you to create and to share that with other creatives. I will also be taking a project - and look forward to seeing what you are doing - and giving guidance if you'd like me to. It's also a chance to get together with people you may have met on previous workshops - or bring a friend for a get-together.

You'll need to bring your own materials, sewing kit and your own project. I will be providing refreshments.  Please also bring a vegetarian dish of food to share. I will bring bread and butter and cake!

Bring your sketchbooks, ideas book, a lovley textiles or art book - then we can inspire each other.

The day will run from 10.30 until 4. The room is fully accessible at ground floor level with toilets on the ground floor.
