For this course you will recive access to password protected pages on my website. There you can access the video tutorials and tasks. There are 3 that will take you half a day to complete. You can post pictures of what you are doing into a private forum to receive feedback from myself and other learners (I will be available to give feedback for one week after the course access starts). Access to the group will remain for 3 weeks so you can complete tasks. If you can't join us on the day you will be able to see all the tutorials for 3 weeks. You will need some basic art equipment - see below.

This is a short, fun workshop to make simple folding sketchbooks. It has replaced a more in depth workshop that was cancelled due to Corona Virus outbreak. If you are booked on my 'Print' or 'Draw' workshops, you might like to complete this first so you can go on to develop a vibrant mixed media sketchbook.

On this workshop you will make your own sketchbook and prepare it ready to draw in. We will add pockets and add paint and texture to make a book that gets you beyond 'white-page fear'.

You'll finish the session with a beautiful handmade concertina sketchbook.

Materials list:

a4 cartridge paper. A4 coloured paper. Old book pages. Old envelopes. Tester pot /emulsion paint. Acrylic paints. Sewing machine (optional). Glue - I use uhu but a pritt stick will do.

The session runs from 10am (though as this is now online you can choose your time framework). You'll get to see where I work (filmed in my studio - I will take you on a tour!). You'll need to provide your own tea and biscuits and make a sign that says "Keep out" ;)

Book MAKE-DRAW-PRINT workshops together and save £25. See separate listing for triple workshop.
