Capturing dedicated making moments from my #100 Day Project in Spring/Summer 2021 as I took a journey towards abstraction. This piece is about simplifying my landscape, through line, shape, pattern or even the rawness and energy that comes through my observation and onto the page.
 
I make art that speaks of the simple pleasures of life and aims to make others stop a moment to notice life's small details. I sketch in the landscape before returning to the studio to recreate the mood of the countryside.
