Please note that this is a Thursday start date so that you can get logged in and join the forum ready to make the most of the weekend ahead.

Hunker down and spend a day having some creative fun.  I will share ideas for handmade cards, tags and wrap so you can have a beautiful, handmade christmas.

Christmas for me is about the stillness - the slowing down and the pared back simplicity of nature. I will be using this as a starting point for creating images. In this strangest of years where Christmas will need us to connect in different ways - make a handmade gesture the hug you want to give.

Materials you will need for the class:

Heavy cartridge or watercolour paper or blank cards from a craft supplier

Envelopes

Paper tags - luggage labels or cut your own.

acrylic paints or inks (or use what you have)

coloured papers to use for collage (collect book pages, envelopes, magazine pages)

a printer to print downloads

coloured pencils/pens

Posca Pens (optional but I love them)

Letter stamps (optional but I use them lots in my cards)

Erasers and a scalpel

The course content can be accessed from 10am on the start date. You will have 3 weeks access to the content.  I've planned the content to give you one full on day of creativity or you can spread it over a couple of days or a week of evenings.
